More than 100 clashes took place on the front lines over the past 24 hours
Over the past day, Russian troops launched one missile strike using a single missile, carried out 79 airstrikes, and dropped 255 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 10,631 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,240 shelling attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and populated areas.
Artillery shelling targeted Korenok, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Sopych, Ulanove, Otruby, Yastrubshchyna, Seredyna-Buda, and Chuykivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Khrinivka in Chernihiv Oblast.
The enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of Sumy, Sukhodol, Luzhky, and Tovstodubove in Sumy Oblast.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ air force, missile forces, and artillery struck 12 areas where Russian troops were concentrated.
Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk Directions
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks.
Russian forces carried out one airstrike using a single guided bomb and fired 62 rounds at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and populated areas.
Southern Slobozhansky Direction
Ukrainian units repelled 12 attacks by Russian forces.
The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Starytsia and Lyman, as well as toward Volokhivka.
Kupiansk Sector
Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions once in the direction of Novoplatonivka.
Lymanskyi Sector
On this section of the front, the occupiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 10 times.
The attacks took place in the areas of Lyman and Dibrova, as well as in the directions of Novoselivka and Karpivka.
Sloviansk Sector
The enemy carried out 15 assaults in the areas of Zakitne and Kryva Luka, as well as in the directions of Dronivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk sector
Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions twice in the Chasovyi Yar area and in the direction of Yurkivka.
Kostiantynivka Sector
The most intense fighting took place, in particular, in the Kostiantynivka sector. The enemy carried out 26 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as in the directions of Novoselivka, Torske, and Mykolaipillia.
Pokrovsk Sector
Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 enemy attacks.
Fighting took place in the areas of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, and Serhiivka, as well as in the directions of Kuchero-Yar, Toretsk, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Svitlyi, Vasylivka, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, and Novoplatonivka.
Oleksandrivka sector
Russian forces carried out four attacks in the directions of Kalynivskyi, Danilivka, Yegorivka, and Rybne.
Hulyaypil Sector
The occupiers attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces eight times.
The enemy attempted to advance in the area of Hirky, as well as in the directions of Vozdvizhivka, Rivne, and Charivne.
Orikhiv sector
Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy attempts to advance.
Russian troops attacked in the directions of Novoselivka, Zarichne, Novoyakovlivka, Novodanilivka, and Pavlivka.
Dnipro Sector
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops did not conduct any assault operations.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

As of August 11, 2026, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,190 Russian occupiers over the past day. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the total losses of the Russian Federation’s army in personnel and equipment in its morning report.
As a reminder, a gas station and a business were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.
In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of the attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 troops and more than 400 pieces of equipment.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
