There were 167 clashes on the front lines over the past day — where Russia launched attacks

As of September 25, there had been 167 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian forces carried out 56 airstrikes, dropped 190 guided bombs, launched more than 4,300 kamikaze drones, and carried out 1,816 artillery attacks. The Ukrainian military repelled the most attacks in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.

 

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the start of the day on September 25, Russian troops have continued to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders in several sectors of the front. In total, 167 combat engagements took place during the day. Russia carried out 56 airstrikes and dropped 190 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 4,346 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,816 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

The Situation in the North and East

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks. Another clash was still ongoing as of this evening. Russia carried out three airstrikes here, using eight guided bombs. The enemy also fired on Defense Forces positions and populated areas 77 times.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times. Fighting took place near Lyman, Synelnykove, and Chaikivka, as well as in the direction of Kudiivka, Izbytske, Zakharivka, Malyi Burluk, and Putnykove.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack in the Kivsharivka area.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces stopped three attempts by Russian troops to advance. Fighting took place in the areas of Kopanok and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assaults. The enemy attacked near Kryva Luka and in the direction of Mykolaivka.

The highest number of assaults occurred in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops launched 18 assaults. Ukrainian forces repelled the attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Stepanivka, Novoselivka, Rusyn Yar, and Vilne. As of 10:00 p.m., two more clashes were ongoing in this sector.

On the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attacks. Russian units attempted to advance in the areas of Dorozhne, Svitle, Dobropillia, Krasnopodillia, Serhiivka, and Molodetske.

Two more attacks were ongoing. According to preliminary data, over the past 24 hours in this sector of the front, Ukrainian forces eliminated 36 Russian soldiers, and another five were wounded. Also destroyed in the Pokrovsk direction:

• two vehicles;
• two artillery systems;
• 11 pieces of specialized equipment;
• two drone control centers;
• one Russian troop shelter.

Four more vehicles and two pieces of specialized equipment were damaged. In addition, four drone control centers and 58 enemy shelters were damaged. According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized 172 drones of various types.

Fighting continues in the south

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled an attempt by Russian troops to advance toward Zaporizhzhia.

Three attacks were recorded in the Huliaipole sector. Russia attempted to advance toward Rizdvyanka, Vozdvizhivka, and Kopaniv. Two engagements were still ongoing as of this evening.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one Russian offensive toward Pavlivka.

In the Kramatorsk and Dnipro sectors, Russian troops did not carry out any offensive operations.

According to the General Staff, there were no significant changes in the situation on other sections of the front. The General Staff also called for continuing the fight against Russian forces.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. Additionally, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were neutralized.

Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18. 

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
