Over the past 24 hours, 235 battles took place on the front lines, with the highest number of attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk sector
Throughout July 15, Ukrainian defenders repelled 235 combat engagements with Russian occupiers along the front lines. The situation remained most intense in the Pokrovsk sector.
It was there that the enemy carried out 32 assault attacks. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in key sectors of the front.
"In total, 235 combat engagements have taken place since the start of this day. The aggressor carried out 52 airstrikes using 170 guided bombs, deployed 6,001 kamikaze drones for the strikes, and fired 2,273 rounds at the positions of our troops and populated areas," the report states.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the occupiers launched 10 assaults on our defenders’ positions. The enemy carried out two airstrikes, dropped six aerial bombs, and fired on populated areas and our troops’ positions 48 times.
Over the past 24 hours in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched 13 assaults on the positions of our units in the Starytsia area and toward the settlements of Izbytske, Lyman, Vilcha, Symynivka, Kolodyazne, Kutkivka, Shev’yakivka, Khatne, and Ambarne. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector today, the enemy carried out four assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces in the direction of Kupiansk, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, eight attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Lyman, Drobysheve, and Ozerne, as well as in the areas of Novoselivka and Yampil, were repelled. One engagement is currently ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 20 attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka, as well as in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakytne. Another clash is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out four attacks in the areas of Nikiforivka and Chasovyi Yar; one battle is ongoing.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and Sofiivka, as well as in the direction of Vilne, Toretsk, and Kuchero-Yar.
The enemy carried out 32 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, and Novosergiivka, as well as in the direction of Bilytske and Shevchenko.
According to preliminary estimates, 30 occupiers were killed and 7 wounded here today; two enemy vehicles and one piece of special equipment were destroyed. Twenty-five personnel shelters and two ammunition depots were damaged. A total of 225 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched three attacks toward Vorone and Ternove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 10 enemy attacks directed at the settlements of Hirke, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Dobropillia, and Charivne. Another clash is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy launched four assaults on the positions of our defenders in the area of Plavni, Bilohirya, and Mali Shcherbakiv. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Dnipro sector, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concluded.
