Russian Strikes Hit 17 Settlements in Kharkiv Region, Two People Injured
On April 7, Russian forces attacked 17 settlements in Kharkiv region, leaving two people injured.
This was reported by Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov on Facebook.
A 40-year-old man was injured in the village of Kachalivka (Krasnokutsk community), while a 50-year-old woman was wounded in the village of Vysoke (Zolochiv community).
According to regional authorities, Russian forces used five guided aerial bombs (KABs), 24 Geran-2 drones, one MolniyaUAV, four FPV drones, and 37 drones of other types.
The consequences of the shelling were recorded across several districts:
- Bohodukhiv district: damage to a private house in Vysoke, a warehouse in Kalynove, and a private house, outbuildings, and power networks in Klynova-Novoselivka.
- Kupiansk district: two private houses and two vehicles, a heritage building in Velykyi Burluk, and two private houses and an outbuilding in Prykolotne.
- Izium district: a vehicle damaged in the village of Vasylivka Persha.
- Kharkiv district: four private houses and three vehicles in Merefa, and a warehouse in Cherkaski Tyshky.
- Chuhuiv district: two private houses in the village of Buhaivka.
A transit evacuation center in Lozova received 238 people over the past day. Since it began operations, a total of 27,227 people have registered there.

Meanwhile, on the evening of April 7, Russian strikes left 4,500 subscribers without electricity in two settlements of Zaporizhzhia district.
During the night of April 8, Russian Shahed drones carried out a massive attack on southern Odesa Oblast, damaging civilian and port infrastructure.
Russia is also reportedly considering creating a so-called buffer zone in Vinnytsia region from the side of unrecognized Transnistria.
Ukraine’s air defenses have neutralized 146 of 176 drones launched by Russian forces since the evening of April 7. Efforts to repel the air attack are ongoing.
