In the Kharkiv region, a Russian FPV drone struck a car, killing a man

A man was killed in the Kharkiv region when a Russian FPV drone struck a car in the Derhachi community.

"According to the investigation, on September 26 at around 12:00 p.m. on a highway near the turnoff to the village of Pitomnik in the Kharkiv District, Russian military personnel attacked a civilian vehicle with an FPV drone. The driver, a 50-year-old man, was killed in the strike. He died at the scene," the prosecutor’s office reported.

According to the office, a 73-year-old woman was also in the car; she was not injured.

Investigators have opened a case regarding the commission of a war crime resulting in a fatality (under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—war crimes).

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Facebook.

Russia attacked Kharkiv; there are casualties and destroyed vehicles.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. One tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were also destroyed.

Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18. 

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
