One person was killed and two were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling
On August 9, a 61-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling.
According to the investigation, Russian forces attacked the region throughout the day using barrel and rocket artillery, as well as various types of drones.
“According to the investigation, on August 9, the Russian army struck the Kherson region using barrel and rocket artillery, as well as various types of drones. As of 5:30 p.m., it was reported that one person was killed and two were injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the statement reads.
At around 5:00 a.m., the occupiers shelled the village of Zolota Balka in the Beryslav district. A 61-year-old woman was killed in her own home.
Two more civilians in Kherson were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack.
The shelling also damaged private homes, apartment buildings, a truck, and a tractor.
“Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to assess the consequences of the shelling and document war crimes committed by the armed forces of the aggressor state,” the prosecutor’s office concluded.

As a reminder, on Friday, August 7, in Dnipro, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of an attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.
