In the Luhansk region, the Russians have cut off the water supply to Alchevsk and Perevalsk

The temporarily occupied cities of Alchevsk and Perevalsk in Luhansk Oblast have been left without a centralized water supply due to accidents on the water main. The occupying authorities have not indicated when water service will be restored. This was stated on August 2 by Oleksiy Kharchenko, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

According to him, the situation was caused by years of inaction on the part of the occupying authorities, who have failed to ensure proper maintenance of public infrastructure in the occupied territories.

“The longer a city or village remains under Russian occupation, the more problems arise there. This is particularly evident in the settlements seized in 2014. For 12 years, public utilities have done almost nothing there,” Kharchenko noted.

He also reported that in the occupied towns of Bryanka and Kadiivka, the water supply has been cut by 80%. At the same time, local residents are not receiving deliveries of drinking water, and they have not been informed of a timeline for restoring the water supply.

In addition, according to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the occupying administration has once again returned to plans to build six landfills, which it first announced four years ago. None of these projects have been implemented to date.

Currently, the occupying authorities plan to develop design and cost estimate documentation for a waste processing complex in Antratsyt. According to Kharchenko, this work is expected to be completed by the end of 2027.

Oleksiy Kharchenko reported this on Facebook.

As a reminder, Russian troops have advanced near the village of Novomarkove in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk Oblast.

DeepState reported on the advance of Russian troops near Kaleniki in the Donetsk region.

On July 29, Russian occupation forces struck the village of Raigorodok in Donetsk Oblast, killing a 37-year-old woman and injuring six people with varying degrees of severity. As a result of enemy strikes on the residential area, 12 homes were damaged.
