Two people were injured and port infrastructure was damaged in the Odesa region as a result of a Russian attack
Two people were injured as a result of a massive attack by Russian strike drones on the Odesa region on the night of May 14. Port infrastructure facilities were targeted.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, on Telegram.
According to Kipper, Russian forces carried out a massive attack with strike drones on the region overnight.
“Last night, the enemy again launched a massive attack on the Odesa region with strike drones. Unfortunately, two people were injured,” the regional head noted.
As a result of two waves of attacks, the following were damaged:
- port infrastructure facilities;
- equipment;
- property;
- freight transport.
The strikes also caused fires, which were quickly extinguished by rescue workers.
Currently, all relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes. Work to address the aftermath of the attack is ongoing.
The injured are receiving necessary medical care.
On May 14, the State Emergency Service released footage of the aftermath of the nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv. In the capital, damage to residential buildings, fires, and casualties were reported; rescue workers evacuated people and addressed the consequences of the strikes.
