In Zaporizhzhia, Russian forces attacked an evacuation vehicle with FPV drones
Russian troops used FPV drones against an evacuation vehicle of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) in the Zaporizhzhia district.
The DSNS reported the incident on Facebook.
At the time of the attack, the vehicle carried three rescuers and an elderly couple whom they were evacuating from a frontline village.
The enemy drones exploded near the vehicle, making it impossible to continue moving.
Fortunately, no one was injured, and the people were transported to Zaporizhzhia in another service vehicle.
“This incident once again demonstrates the cynicism of the Russians: they strike even evacuation vehicles carrying rescuers and civilians,” the DSNS emphasized.
Meanwhile, intense fighting continues on the Oleksandrivka axis over the settlements of Novohryhorivka and Berezove, located on the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
Earlier, Ukrainian counterattacks in the south were reported to potentially disrupt Russia’s spring–summer offensive plans.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that this winter, the Armed Forces of Ukraine maintained control of all key defensive positions.
