National Guard destroys Russian S-400 “Triumf” in Belgorod region
Special unit crews of the Lasar’s Group drone aviation complexes of the National Guard of Ukraine struck Russian positions in Belgorod region, Russia.
As a result of the operation, a Russian S-400 “Triumf” surface-to-air missile system was destroyed. This system, used by Russian forces, is designed to engage aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles and is considered one of the key elements of Russia’s air defense network.
The National Guard of Ukraine reported the strike on Telegram and released a corresponding video.
“Lasar’s Group of the NGU destroyed a Russian S-400 ‘Triumf’ in Belgorod region,” the message reads.
The operation to locate and neutralize the S-400 was conducted jointly with the 429th Separate Drone Systems Brigade ‘Achilles’ and the Joint Forces Grouping.
After coordinated analytical work, aerial reconnaissance from the 429th Brigade surveyed enemy territory and identified the S-400 system. The information was then passed to the NGU’s strike UAV unit, Lasar’s Group.
“Our crews flew to the area where the S-400 ‘Triumf’ was located and carried out precise strikes,” the National Guard reported.
The military emphasized that this operation significantly reduced the activity of Russian air defense on the Kharkiv axis.

US President Donald Trump stated that a “major wave” of strikes on Iran is inevitable. He also did not rule out the deployment of American ground forces on Iranian territory.
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said he could not provide exact timelines for US operations in Iran and did not exclude the possibility of deploying ground forces. He emphasized that the final decision on the duration of the operation rests with President Donald Trump.
