Unknown drones attacked a military plant in Cheboksary
On the night of November 26, unknown drones attacked Cheboksary, located in the Chuvash Republic of Russia.
The target was a military plant suspected of producing critical technologies for the Russian army, including satellite signal receivers for electronic warfare systems.
The first explosion was heard around 02:40, and residents of the area also reported hearing sounds in the vicinity.
The head of the Chuvash Republic, Oleg Nikolaev, confirmed the attack, stating that there were no casualties, but an evacuation is ongoing.
It is known that the “VNDIR-Progress” plant produces modules used in missiles and drones, so such an attack may indicate a significant risk to Russia’s military capabilities.
This is not the first time that the plant’s facilities have been targeted by drones, indicating growing attention to military production in the region.
