According to him, doctors tried until the very end to save the 77-year-old victim, but her injuries proved to be too severe. The woman’s condition remained critical throughout her stay in the hospital. “An elderly woman who was injured on April 11 during the Russian shelling of the Korabelny district of Kherson has died in the hospital. Medical staff fought to save the life of the 77-year-old Kherson resident until the very end. But her injuries proved too severe,” Prokudin wrote.
The regional governor also expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, noting that every such loss is a consequence of regular attacks on civilian areas of the city.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 725 strikes on 39 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, two people were killed and ten others were wounded.
On the evening of April 20, two local residents were killed in an attack by an enemy FPV drone on Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike damaged high-rise buildings, private homes, and vehicles.
