The occupiers attacked a suburb of Zaporizhzhia with a drone
Russian occupation forces launched another drone strike on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of this terrorist act, the driver of a civilian passenger minibus, who was at his workplace, was killed.
All necessary emergency services and law enforcement agencies responded promptly at the scene to address the aftermath of the attack.
Rescue workers confirmed that an enemy drone had struck transportation infrastructure near the regional center.
“Preliminary reports indicate that the attack killed a 56-year-old minibus driver who was at the final stop,” the statement said.
Currently, representatives of relevant agencies note that data on the total number of casualties and the extent of the damage are still being clarified.
The enemy attack took place during the day, when other people could have been at the public transport stop. Investigators are recording this incident as yet another war crime against the civilian population.
This strike was a continuation of the invaders’ relentless terror against residents of the Zaporizhzhia region over the past several days. Since the night of June 6, Russian troops have attacked Zaporizhzhia three times, using various types of weaponry.
During the night, the occupiers directed kamikaze drones at the city’s industrial and critical infrastructure facilities, resulting in the deaths of two workers.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) officially reported the tragic incident on its Telegram channel.
