On 5 February, Ukrainian forces reportedly destroyed 770 Russian occupiers

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported significant losses among Russian troops as of the morning of 5 February 2026.

During the past day, Ukrainian defenders carried out multiple strikes on enemy positions, demonstrating high efficiency and organization in combat operations.

Given the escalation of offensive actions by the Russian army, these successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are important for maintaining morale and stability on the front lines.

As of 5 February, Russia’s losses in the war against Ukraine include:

Progress is being observed in measures to counter enemy attacks, indicating a growing capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to respond to changes in the enemy’s tactics.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, over 55,000 Ukrainian defenders have been killed.

As of 4 February 2026, the total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion reached approximately 1,243,070 personnel.
