During the Russian Federation's massive attack on Kyiv, the studio of the YouTube channel "Iceland" was destroyed

As a result of a massive Russian attack on Kyiv on the night of July 2, the studio of the YouTube channel “Iceland” was damaged. The project team reported the damage.

A security guard at the studio was killed in the strike.

The Russians destroyed our studio. It’s surprising that this happened only now. Unfortunately, our security guard, Uncle Vova, a great guy, was killed—it’s a real shame. He commuted to work from the Sumy region. Our condolences to his family and loved ones,” the statement reads.

As a reminder, on the night of July 2, Russian troops carried out one of the most massive attacks on Kyiv. The occupiers used strike drones, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and “Zircon” hypersonic missiles, striking residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.

According to official data, damage was recorded at 28 locations in the capital. The Russian shelling resulted in fatalities and injuries, and emergency services continued to deal with the aftermath of the strikes in various parts of the city.

The team reported this on Facebook.
