Air Assault Forces units liberate nine villages on the Oleksandrivka direction
Units of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully broken through on the Oleksandrivka direction, restoring control over nine settlements.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders continue active offensive operations, imposing the initiative on the enemy.
Currently, the clearing of three of the liberated territories in the paratroopers’ area of responsibility is ongoing. At the same time, assault groups are working to liberate the next strategically important points, systematically driving occupiers out of fortified positions.
“As of now, nine settlements have been liberated. Three settlements have been cleared of the enemy in our zone, and work is currently underway to liberate several more settlements,” the Air Assault Forces command stated.
An important stage of the operation was the technological suppression of the enemy. A week after the start of the offensive, Ukrainian forces managed to limit the occupiers’ access to the Starlink network, paralyzing their command and control.
“This significantly affected the enemy’s situational awareness and complicated the management of units in the first phase,” the General Staff emphasized.
Despite losing communication, the enemy attempted to continue advancing but met resistance from aerial reconnaissance units.
The effectiveness of the offensive is ensured by concentrated strikes on enemy personnel and equipment. FPV drone units operate continuously, destroying enemy reserves even deep in the rear, leaving the occupiers no chance for safe regrouping.
The operation, ongoing since January 29, has already inflicted catastrophic losses on the occupiers.
During this period, total enemy personnel losses reached 6,537, of which 4,355 were irrecoverable, and 15 enemy soldiers were captured.
The enemy’s technical park has also suffered significant destruction. The Defense Forces have destroyed 419 units of weapons and special military equipment, which has substantially undermined the occupiers’ offensive potential in this section of the front.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have stopped dozens of assaults on the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk directions.
In addition, in a single day, the Armed Forces eliminated 960 Russian military personnel and five air defense assets.
