Russians struck a police station in Pryluky, Chernihiv region, with a drone
This afternoon, April 20, 2026, the Russian army launched an attack using strike drones on the city of Pryluky in the Chernihiv region.
The main target of the enemy shelling was the district police station, where a massive fire broke out as a result of the strike.
According to Ivan Ishchenko, head of the Main Department of the National Police in Chernihiv Oblast, the strike was recorded around 10:35 a.m.

The strike caused significant damage to the administrative building: part of the structure was reduced to rubble, and numerous windows were shattered. Law enforcement vehicles on the premises also sustained serious damage.
“Around 10:35 a.m., a strike hit the district police department in Pryluky. Part of the building was destroyed, windows were shattered, and police vehicles were damaged. There were no fatalities or injuries,” Ivan Ishchenko said in a statement to the media.

Although there were no casualties among police personnel, there were still victims. One local resident was injured as a result of the attack.
According to Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, the strike also caused damage to nearby civilian infrastructure.
