After Russian strike, Kryvyi Rih partially left without heating, boiler plants halted

In Kryvyi Rih, part of the city was left without heat due to damage to boiler plants following a nighttime strike by Russian forces.

This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Oleksiy Kuleba. He added that repair work is ongoing, and the boiler plants are being restarted.

Chairman of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, specified that on the night of January 28, the city was attacked with ballistic missiles.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged. The missile strike caused an emergency shutdown of several large boiler plants, and hydraulic shocks led to bursts in main pipelines.

According to Vilkul, around 700 buildings are currently without heating. City services are working to restore heat supply.

Russia again struck the port of Pivdennyi.

Russia attacked five districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. The Russian military also struck Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Kryvyi Rih.
