Polish railway worker supports Russian strike on Kharkiv train — Polsat News
In Poland, a railway employee left a comment under a post about the Russian strike on a Ukrzaliznytsia passenger train in Kharkiv region, according to Polsat News.
The man wrote: “Glory to Russia.” Following the public reaction, his employer announced the launch of an internal investigation.
According to online discussions, the commenter works for Polskie Linie Kolejowe (Polish State Railways).
The company responded quickly, stating that it had initiated internal procedures to determine the full circumstances. The statement emphasized that it does not tolerate content or behaviour that violates the law, ethical standards, or could endanger public safety.
The company also highlighted a key industry concern — the safety of infrastructure and passengers, calling it an absolute priority. Any actions or signals that undermine trust in transport safety or create risks will be treated with full seriousness.
The internal investigation will determine whether the employee violated company rules or norms regarding public conduct.
The Russian attack on the passenger train in Kharkiv resulted in casualties, and 291 people were evacuated following the drone strike.
