More than 117,000 residents of occupied Donetsk are without power
A blackout occurred in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. More than 117,000 customers were left without power.
According to the city’s Gauleiter, Oleksiy Kulemzin, the large-scale outages affected the Petrovsky, Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky, and Proletarsky districts.
The power outage is attributed to a scheduled shutdown of 415 transformer substations. The occupation administration has not yet announced when power will be restored. However, it is known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are continuously working to destroy the occupiers’ infrastructure.
As a reminder, activists from the “OTPOR” movement stated that they set fire to a patrol police car in the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk. The movement reported this on its Telegram channel on Thursday, August 6.
In the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk, a powerful explosion occurred at a Russian military ammunition depot on the night of July 14. A massive fire broke out at the site following the strike, and according to eyewitness reports, the ammunition continues to detonate.
