Air Forces shot down 90 enemy drones during mass attack on March 11
In the night of March 11, 2026, Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory, using 99 strike drones of various types.
As a result of a drone strike in Kharkiv, a fire broke out, causing fatalities and injuries among civilians.
According to the official report of the Ukrainian Air Forces, the enemy attacked Ukraine using UAVs of the “Shahed,” “Herber,” “Italmas” types, and other weapon systems.
The launches were carried out from nine different directions, including from Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, and temporarily occupied Crimea.
As of 08:30, air defense units demonstrated high effectiveness, destroying or suppressing 90 enemy targets with electronic warfare systems.
Despite the successful work of the defenders of the sky, nine strike drones hit six different locations in the northern, southern, and eastern regions.
In addition to direct hits, debris from shot-down drones was recorded, which also caused property damage.
The Air Forces emphasize that about 70 of the total number were specifically Iranian-made kamikaze drones.
It should be recalled that Russians attacked energy infrastructure in Sumy Oblast, leaving parts of the region without electricity.
Additionally, Russians twice attacked the Korabelnyi district of Kherson, seriously injuring a woman.
