Total blockade: part of occupied Crimea is without power
In the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Armiansk, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy and its district, Yevpatoria, as well as the Black Sea and Saki districts, are without power. The occupying authorities say they plan to restore power within the next 24 hours.
In the Bakhchisaray district, rolling blackouts have been implemented due to grid overloads, following a “three hours with power, three hours without” schedule.
The occupying administration attributes the situation to “disruptions on the main power grids.” Meanwhile, on the night of July 2, explosions were reported in Crimea, particularly in the Simferopol area, as well as possible strikes on power substations in the Saki district.
