President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the massive Russian attack on Ukraine and described the consequences of the strike on Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to him, Russian drones attacked people near shopping centers. At least four people were killed in the strike, and more than 60 others were injured. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.

Zelenskyy also reported numerous attacks on other regions. In particular, Russian forces struck Kramatorsk, as well as cities and communities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, and also in the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions. In the evening, Dnipro and Kyiv came under attack.

The president stated that Ukraine, together with its international partners, is working to strengthen its air defense. According to him, decisions regarding new support packages—in particular for the protection of Ukrainian airspace—are expected as early as September 10.

Separately, Zelenskyy emphasized the preparation of new aid packages for the defense industry. This involves additional funding for defense and expanding the capabilities of Ukrainian weapons manufacturers.
