Putin Is Afraid of Even Food: The Kremlin Has Turned His Trips Into a Special Operation
Since the start of the full-scale war, every trip Vladimir Putin takes has resembled a military special operation.
For the Russian dictator, routes are checked in advance, entire floors of hotels are reserved, armored limousines are delivered, along with his own chefs, doctors, and even specially selected “extras.” This is detailed in an investigation by “Navalny LIVE.”
According to the journalists, Putin’s security has become the top priority. Before each of his visits, Federal Security Service agents inspect his accommodations in advance, seal off the presidential suites in hotels, replace all toiletries with items brought from Russia, and reserve separate elevators exclusively for him and his security detail.
It is also claimed that Putin is flying less and less and increasingly traveling by a secret armored train, whose route does not appear in public tracking systems. At the same time, his flights are escorted by several aircraft, fighter jets, combat helicopters, and air defense systems.
Particular attention is paid to the Russian leader’s diet. According to the authors of the investigation, his meals are prepared exclusively from ingredients brought in from Russia, and all dishes are tested for toxic substances before being served. In addition, a specially designated person tastes them beforehand.
Journalists also claim that Putin is constantly accompanied by a team of doctors, and anyone wishing to meet him in person must undergo a multi-day quarantine and medical examinations. According to the journalists, the audience for his events is carefully selected, and employees of Kremlin-linked organizations are often found among the “random” passersby.
“Putin simply won’t go anywhere where there is even the slightest threat to him. Hundreds of officers from the FSB, the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other agencies participate in every presidential trip,” the authors of the investigation note.
