The UN Security Council will convene urgently following a request from Russia after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the occupiers' headquarters

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting at the request of the Russian Federation following a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a Russian military facility in the temporarily occupied city of Starobilsk in Luhansk Oblast.

The meeting is scheduled for Friday at 3:00 p.m. New York time, which corresponds to 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time.

The Russian side claims that the strike allegedly targeted a dormitory housing minors and students from one of the educational institutions in the occupied territory.

At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Russian propaganda is spreading manipulative reports about alleged damage to civilian infrastructure.

According to the General Staff, on the night of May 22, Ukrainian forces attacked a number of Russian military facilities, including an oil refinery, ammunition depots, air defense systems, command posts, and enemy personnel.

Among the targets hit was the headquarters of the “Rubicon” unit near Starobilsk. The Armed Forces of Ukraine note that this Russian unmanned technology unit is involved in attacks on civilian facilities in Ukraine.

As a reminder, Russia attacked a substation in the Kramatorsk district with an FPV drone.

In the Zolochiv community of the Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attacked the Hryhorii Skovoroda National Literary and Memorial Museum.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of Russian shelling. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
