Russia attacked Izyum with KABs; a two-month-old baby was among the casualties
Overnight, Russian forces launched guided airstrikes on Izyum in the Kharkiv region. Three people were injured in the attack, including a two-month-old infant.
According to the head of the regional military administration, a 56-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a two-month-old infant were injured in Izyum as a result of the Russian guided airstrike.
“A 56-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a 2-month-old infant were injured in the city of Izyum as a result of an enemy guided aerial bomb strike,” Synyegubov wrote.
Shortly before the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of the threat of aerial bombs being dropped on the Kharkiv region.
As a result of the strikes, four private homes were destroyed, and five more private homes were damaged.
Passenger cars belonging to local residents were also damaged.
“Four private homes were destroyed, five private houses were damaged, and passenger cars were damaged,” noted the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Specialized services are working at the impact sites to address the consequences of the attack and assess the full extent of the damage.
Oleg Synyegubov also released footage from the strike site. The footage shows significant destruction of one of the private homes.
Izyum and other settlements in the Kharkiv region are regularly subjected to Russian strikes involving drones, missiles, and guided aerial bombs.
The city of Izyum has also been repeatedly targeted by Russian forces.

In addition, Russian forces attacked a vehicle belonging to an electrical repair crew in the Konotop district of the Sumy region. The workers were on their way to the site of a power grid failure to carry out repair work.
On September 10, in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv, a drone crashed in an open area in the woods near a shopping center. According to preliminary reports, there was no fire and no injuries.
In the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, an enemy drone struck the roof of a four-story business center. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances and address the aftermath of the incident.
