Russia attacked Kharkiv with KAB bombs; one person was killed, and warehouses caught fire
On the afternoon of October 5, Russian troops launched guided airstrikes on Kharkiv. The attack resulted in one fatality and several injuries, as well as fires in warehouse facilities and damage to residential buildings.
According to Igor Terekhov, Russian troops launched at least three strikes on Kharkiv using guided aerial bombs.
The strikes were recorded in the city’s Slobidskyi district. Warehouse buildings also caught fire following the attack. In addition, residential buildings were damaged.
Later, Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified that a five-story building was damaged as a result of a guided aerial bomb strike in the Slobidskyi district.
“At this time, we know of one injured woman. All emergency services are working at the site of the attack,” he added.
Furthermore, according to Terekhov, there may be people trapped under the rubble in the residential building that came under fire. A search and rescue operation is underway.
Later, the mayor of Kharkiv reported one fatality as a result of the Russian strike. Another 10 people were injured.
As a reminder, the Russians previously struck Chuhuiv, injuring three people.
On the morning of October 4, during a drone attack, a Russian suicide drone exploded on the roadway of the North Bridge in Kyiv.
As a result of the October 4 attack on Kyiv’s Northern Bridge, a heating main was damaged. Because of this, there will be a temporary lack of hot water in the Desnianskyi district.
