Russia attacked the Mykolaiv region; a child is among the wounded
In Mykolaiv, a 70-year-old woman was killed and four other people were injured as a result of a Russian attack. Among the victims was a 15-year-old child.
According to Reshetilov, Russian troops carried out a combined attack on the region overnight.
The enemy used attack drones, ballistic missiles, “Banderole” missiles, and guided aerial bombs in the strikes.
Among the injured were two men aged 74 and 66, a 44-year-old woman, and a 15-year-old child.
The 66-year-old man was hospitalized. Medical personnel assess his condition as moderate. The other injured individuals received outpatient treatment.
As a result of the Russian shelling in Mykolaiv, transportation, port, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
A shopping center, a postal terminal, a café, and two private homes were also damaged.
In addition, four trucks were damaged. One of them was completely destroyed as a result of the attack.
Russian strikes last night and the night before also affected other communities in the region.
In particular, the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities in the Mykolaiv district were attacked twice by FPV drones. In the village of Dniprovske, a private home was damaged as a result of the shelling. No one was injured.
In the Halytsynivska community, Russian troops launched a strike with a guided aerial bomb. Industrial infrastructure facilities there were damaged.
Another drone attack was recorded in the Berezan community, where energy infrastructure facilities were damaged.
After the attack ended, Mykolaiv’s municipal services are preparing to resume work.
They will assist residents, clean up the areas, and board up broken windows in damaged buildings.
Last night, not only the Mykolaiv region but also Kyiv and the Kyiv region came under Russian attack.
In the capital, the attack caused fires in the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. Trucks, a garage, and a two-story non-residential building were on fire.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, all fires in Kyiv have been extinguished, and there are no fatalities or injuries.
On the morning of September 9, Georgy Reshetilov, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian strike.
In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, a Russian attack drone struck a 16-story residential building. Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
Since the evening of September 8, Russian troops have shelled four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. The occupiers used drones in the attacks, and three people were wounded as a result of the strikes.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
