Russia attacks Odesa with drones, one person injured

During the night of 12 February, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Odesa, resulting in damage to civilian and infrastructure facilities.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, said that a key infrastructure site and a local business centre were heavily damaged in one of the city’s districts.

Emergency services, including units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS), are working at the impact sites and inspecting nearby residential buildings for possible damage.

At present, one person has been reported injured and is receiving medical assistance.

Additionally, a local power grid accident caused electricity outages in parts of the Khadzhibeyskyi and Kyivskyi districts of the city.

On the night of 11–12 February 2023, the city of Dnipro was also targeted by Russian strikes carried out using ballistic missiles and drones.

Russian armed forces also struck Zolochiv with an FPV drone, injuring two teenage boys aged 15 and 14.

In the Myropillia community of the Sumy region, two civilians were killed as a result of Russian shelling.
