Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia district: four killed, child among the injured
As a result of Russian strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district, four people were killed and two others were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Four people were killed and two more were injured as a result of enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district,” the regional head stated.
According to him, over the past 24 hours Russian forces carried out 643 strikes on 32 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Authorities received 218 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure facilities.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that at around 10:00 p.m. on 24 February, occupying forces launched airstrikes on one of the villages in the Zaporizhzhia district.
“As a result of the strikes, a residential house was destroyed at one address. Rescuers recovered the bodies of three people from under the rubble. At another address, a two-storey residential building was damaged. Emergency workers retrieved the body of one person from the debris. A child was injured. The blast wave and debris also damaged nearby buildings,” the agency reported.
