Russia occupies Rybnye and advances on multiple fronts in eastern Ukraine
The analytical group DeepState reported that Russian forces have captured the village of Rybnye in Zaporizhzhia region.
The settlement is located close to the frontline, and its occupation indicates increased enemy activity along the southern section of the front.
This information is confirmed by an interactive map of the fighting, which already marks the area as temporarily occupied.
In addition, Russian forces continue to advance near Solodke in Zaporizhzhia, as well as in the areas of Rodynske and Pokrovske in Donetsk region.
According to military analysts, the enemy is attempting to improve its tactical positions, using both assault groups and unmanned aerial vehicles to locate targets.
The main goal appears to be to apply additional pressure on Ukrainian defences along the axis from Huliaipole to Pokrovske.
DeepState notes that the occupiers are increasingly using infiltration tactics — small groups attempt to penetrate behind Ukrainian positions while avoiding large-scale clashes.
This approach allows the enemy to reduce losses while creating risks for the flanks of Ukrainian units, forcing them to stretch their defensive lines.
For context, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 165 attacks by the occupiers in a single day.
Ukrainian defence forces also blocked the remnants of a Russian formation in one district of Kupiansk and continue to successfully hold a bridgehead on the left bank of the Oskil River.
