The Russian Federation has entered the “zero phase” of preparation for a possible war with NATO
Russia is intensifying attacks against Europe and, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), is already in the “zero phase” of preparation for a potential conflict with NATO.
Analysts note that Russia is increasing both covert and overt attacks against Europe.
Moscow has entered the “zero phase” — the phase of creating information and psychological conditions — to prepare for a possible future war between NATO and Russia.
“The event of December 17 marked the first case recorded by ISW in which Russian military personnel in uniform crossed the territory of a NATO country since the beginning of Russia’s efforts within the ‘zero phase’ in September 2025,” the Institute for the Study of War stated.
Putin has confirmed his ambitions to expand control over the territories of Ukraine.
He also claimed that the war against Ukraine was allegedly not started by Russia in 2022, but by the West.
