Russia is redeploying troops to southern Ukraine via Crimea and the Azov coast

Russian forces are increasing the movement of personnel and equipment to southern Ukraine through temporarily occupied Crimea and along the Azov Sea coast. The Defense Forces regularly strike logistical routes and transport to reduce shelling and assaults.

According to Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, the fewer enemy resources reach the front, the more effective the defense.

“The enemy is moving forces and conducting logistical support — this includes personnel, weapons, military equipment, fuel, and ammunition,” Voloshyn said.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces strike these routes almost daily. “We achieve effective fire results, hitting both logistical routes and the transport moving along them. We fully understand that the less reaches the front, the fewer assaults there will be, and the fewer shellings,” the spokesperson added.

Regular strikes on enemy routes help reduce the intensity of attacks in the southern direction and maintain control over key territories. At the same time, the enemy also tries to actively use railways to supply weapons and ammunition, but the Defense Forces closely monitor all supply flows.
