Russia launched ballistic missile strikes on Kharkiv and Pavlohrad

On the night of April 3, Russian occupation forces launched a massive ballistic missile attack on Ukraine. Several cities came under fire, including Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Pavlohrad.

According to Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, and Mayor Igor Terekhov, the enemy launched four missile strikes on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. 

Details regarding the extent of the damage and the consequences of the shelling are currently being verified.

“A 63-year-old woman was injured as a result of the enemy’s missile strike on Kharkiv. She was hospitalized. Medical personnel are providing the victim with all necessary assistance,” Sinehubov said.

Almost simultaneously, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, confirmed the missile strike. Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned of the threat of ballistic missile use.

In addition, Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region came under enemy fire—reports of a series of explosions in the city circulated online.

Information regarding potential damage and casualties in Zaporizhzhia and Pavlohrad is currently being verified.

In Kharkiv, a woman and her one-year-old infant were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike. The incident occurred in the Osnovyanskyi district of the city, where a fire broke out in a high-rise building. Both victims suffered severe stress, but their lives are not in danger.

Additionally, a series of enemy drone strikes was recorded in various parts of Kharkiv, causing fires at the impact sites.

Throughout the day, Russian troops attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 40 times with drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. Two people were killed, and another woman was injured. Rural communities, infrastructure facilities, and private homes were hit hardest. 

Throughout the day on April 2, Russian occupation forces carried out a series of brutal attacks on the Kherson region, using artillery and FPV drones against the civilian population.
