Russia has once again attacked Kyiv with jet-powered drones; explosions were heard
Russia has once again launched a jet-powered drone at Kyiv. Explosions were heard in the capital after an air raid alert was issued.
At 9:29 a.m., an air raid alert was issued in the capital.
The Air Force reported that a jet-powered UAV was moving toward the center of Kyiv.
By approximately 9:32 a.m., explosions were heard in the capital.
In addition to Kyiv, explosions were also heard in Kropyvnytskyi, according to local news outlets.
Information regarding the consequences of the attack and potential damage is being verified.
Overnight and this morning, Russian forces carried out another series of strikes on Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure. The effects of the attack were recorded at more than 10 locations. As of 8:00 a.m., 16 people are known to have been injured, including two children.
Sixteen people, including two children, were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv. The attack damaged residential buildings, educational institutions, and railroad tracks.
Russia also launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.
Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District. Black smoke is rising from the site.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
