Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: debris fell in two districts
On the night of August 27, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, and a series of explosions rocked the capital. Debris from enemy targets fell in two areas of the city, including in the courtyard of a residential building; details about the consequences of the attack are still being determined.
An air raid alert was declared in the capital and several regions due to the threat of ballistic missiles and attack drones.
Shortly thereafter, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that debris had been found in the courtyard of a residential building in the Podilskyi district.
“Information regarding casualties and damage is being verified,” the Kyiv City Military Administration added.
In addition, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris was reported to have fallen on the grounds of an educational institution in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
As a reminder, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
