Russia attacked businesses in three cities in the Dnipropetrovsk region
On the night of September 22, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Facilities in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad were hit; fires were reported, and there are casualties.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the day, the city of Dnipro and the region had been under attack by rocket-powered drones. However, by 2:00 a.m., an alert had been issued in many regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic missiles.
Immediately afterward, the Ukrainian Air Force detected missile launches, and explosions were heard in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad. Subsequently, the enemy carried out repeated strikes, and military officials reported that “Banderole” loitering munitions were heading toward the region.
Authorities have now officially confirmed that the enemy launched a simultaneous strike on three cities.
“Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is under enemy attack. The Russians simultaneously struck industrial facilities in three cities in the region—Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad. Fires have broken out,” wrote Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
He also added that at least three people were injured in Dnipro as a result of the attack.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, stated that the Russians had also attacked the city with cruise missiles. Prior to this, monitoring channels reported that the enemy had launched “Kalibr”-type cruise missiles and that they were in Ukrainian airspace.
At 7:30 a.m., Oleksandr Hanzha reported that the number of casualties in Dnipro had risen to six as a result of the Russian attack. In addition, two people were killed.
“In Dnipro, warehouse facilities and a business have been destroyed. Two people were killed. A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition. Men aged 35, 46, and 47, as well as a 51-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital in moderate condition. A 57-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Vilkul stated that in Kryvyi Rih, the enemy attacked an industrial facility with ballistic and cruise missiles. The strikes caused damage, but fortunately, everyone survived.
Earlier, Russia struck a Silpo distribution center in Odesa.
In addition, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones, resulting in casualties and destruction.
