Russia launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia; there are casualties
On the night of September 16–17, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia. The attack resulted in casualties and caused a fire.
“A woman and two men were injured. They are receiving all necessary medical care,” according to a statement by Mykhailo Semikin, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
According to authorities, the missiles struck industrial facilities. Some buildings sustained partial damage, and a fire broke out at one of the sites. Rescue workers are on the scene.
Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv. Black smoke is rising from the site.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
