Russia lost more than 1,000 soldiers and four air defense systems on the front lines over the past 24 hours

The total combat losses of the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, to September 26, 2026—amount to approximately 1,527,280 servicemen. 

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 1,710 Russian occupiers.

According to the General Staff, as of September 26, Russian forces also lost:

• 12,376 tanks (+7 over the past day);
• 25,435 armored combat vehicles (+20);
• 50,371 artillery systems (+96);
• 2,160 multiple-launch rocket systems (+3);
• 1,673 air defense systems (+4);
• 443 aircraft (+0);
• 356 helicopters (+0);
• 2,748 ground-based robotic systems (+12);
• 534,020 operational-tactical-level UAVs (+1,445);
• 5,118 cruise missiles (+0);
• 35 ships and boats (+0);
• 2 submarines (+0);
• 153,728 vehicles and tanker trucks (+576);
• 4,749 units of specialized equipment (+8).

Thus, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered the greatest losses in operational-tactical-level drones—1,445 units—as well as in vehicles and tankers—576—and 96 artillery systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that these figures represent the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale war.

As of September 25, there had been 167 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian troops carried out 56 airstrikes, dropped 190 guided bombs, launched more than 4,300 kamikaze drones, and carried out 1,816 shelling attacks. The Ukrainian military repelled the most attacks in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,520 casualties. Additionally, one tank, five armored combat vehicles, and 73 artillery systems were destroyed.

Occupied Donetsk and a significant portion of the region’s territory temporarily seized by Russian terrorists were left without power on September 18. 

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.
