Russia used more than 1,000 drones and guided aerial bombs against Ukraine in one week — Zelenskyy
Over the past week, the enemy launched six missiles, around one thousand strike drones, and more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs.
This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Facebook.
“For Ukraine, it is extremely important that support from our partners continues. Almost every day there is a threat to the lives of our people because of Russian attacks,” the head of state emphasized.
Zelenskyy stressed that consistent defense assistance and the strengthening of air defense are key to protecting the population. Every missile and air defense system that partners have in storage can realistically save Ukrainian lives.
The President also noted that predictability and stability in assistance can encourage Moscow to engage in diplomatic negotiations. He expressed gratitude to all international partners who support Ukraine “with their strength and diplomacy for the sake of a just peace.”
A 51-year-old woman was injured as a result of an enemy attack on the Zaporizhzhia district.
In addition, Russian forces carried out nearly 60 shelling attacks on 24 settlements across 12 territorial communities in the Sumy region.
