Russia has launched more than 800 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 810 strikes on 42 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and nine others were wounded as a result of the attacks.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, on Telegram.
According to him, the Zaporizhzhia district was hit the hardest. The enemy carried out 19 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia and a number of settlements, including Balabine, Kushuhum, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and others.
In addition, the following were recorded:
- 543 attacks by various types of drones (primarily FPV);
- 7 shellings from multiple launch rocket systems;
- 241 artillery strikes.
Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, including Stepnogorsk, Pavlivka, Primorsky, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, and others.
As noted by the head of the Regional Military Administration, 166 reports were received regarding damage to residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles.
Russian shelling of the region remains intense, causing significant damage to civilian infrastructure and the civilian population.
