Russian troops carried out 28 attacks on the Chernihiv region

Russian troops carried out 28 attacks on the Chernihiv region over the past day. As a result of a drone strike, a 64-year-old woman was injured while working in her garden. Businesses, infrastructure, and residential buildings came under attack. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.

The Novobilouska community was hit the hardest. During a drone attack there, a 64-year-old local resident sustained shrapnel injuries. At the time of the strike, she was working in her garden near her home.

“In a village of the Novobilouska community, a 64-year-old woman working in her garden sustained shrapnel injuries during a drone attack. Medics provided her with the necessary assistance,” Chaus said.

According to him, the attacks targeted not only residential areas but also business facilities. In the Ripky community, a Russian “Geran”-type drone struck the territory of an enterprise. The attack damaged a hangar and a power line, causing power outages in some areas.

Another strike was recorded in Chernihiv, where a drone hit one of the enterprises. Information about the extent of the damage is being clarified.

In the Nizhyn district, Russian forces used another type of drone — the “Gerbera”. Strikes were recorded on transport infrastructure facilities as well as on private households. Damage has been reported, but there are no reports of casualties.

In the Novhorod-Siverskyi community, a drone strike damaged a residential building and several vehicles. According to local authorities, the situation in the region remains tense. Russian forces regularly attack border communities using drones and other means of attack.

Ukrainian services are working at the sites of the strikes, documenting the consequences of the attacks and assisting those affected. Local authorities are urging residents not to ignore air raid alerts and to follow safety rules.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also stated that Russian troops have not advanced in Vovchansk and Synkivka.

It was also reported that the occupying forces will deploy all mobilised personnel from Crimea into combat starting from 1 April.

As a reminder, Russian occupying forces have been killing one another due to a lack of communication at their positions.

They also carried out drone attacks on residential buildings and a port in the Odesa region.
