Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 559 times over the past 24 hours. Forty settlements came under fire; three people were killed and 20 others were wounded.
According to Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 11 airstrikes on Kushuhum, Balabyn, Yurkivka, Yasna Polyana, Listivka, Chervonyi Yar, Soniachne, Mykilsk, and Vasynivka. Most of the attacks involved the use of drones. Over the past 24 hours, the Russians launched 433 UAVs of various types, primarily FPV drones.
The drones attacked Zaporizhzhia and dozens of settlements in the region. Among them were Malokaterynivka, Kushuhum, Balabine, Komyshuvakha, Rozumivka, Hryhorivka, Stepnogorsk, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, Vasynivka, and others. In addition, Russian troops struck Primorske twice with multiple-launch rocket systems. Another 113 artillery strikes hit settlements in the region.

On the morning of August 23, Russian troops attacked Izyum in the Kharkiv region with three guided aerial bombs. Two people were injured in the strike, and about 20 private homes were damaged. Vehicles and power lines were also damaged.
