The Russians attacked the Epicenter in Pryluky
On September 8, Russian troops struck the “Epicenter” in the city of Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast. The attack took place during the day.
Police officials emphasized that information regarding casualties and the extent of the damage is still being verified.
“Police investigative and operational teams, bomb disposal experts, and other relevant services are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of yet another attack by Russian troops on civilian infrastructure. Police are securing the scene, carrying out necessary initial measures, and collecting evidence of a war crime committed by the Russian army,” the statement reads.
In particular, the police urged citizens not to approach the site of the strike due to the threat of a repeat attack and to respond to air raid sirens.
“We have good results in shooting down cruise missiles, but it’s not easy with ballistic missiles,” Zelenskyy said.
On September 8, Russian troops launched two “Shahed” missiles at the Kyiv–Sumy train. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to the Russian Federation’s attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
