Russian troops have once again attacked the main flag of Donetsk Oblast in Kramatorsk, but the damaged flag has already been replaced.
This was reported by Oleksandr Goncharenko, head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration.
According to him, the strike on one of Donetsk Oblast’s symbols was yet another attempt to create a propaganda image.
“Today there was another attack on the main flag of Donetsk Oblast in Kramatorsk. They hit it. What was the goal? For the sake of an image—for their own TV. We have already replaced the flag. Kramatorsk was, is, and will remain a Ukrainian city,” he noted.
The city’s military administration emphasized that Russian troops continue to destroy Ukrainian cities, but this does not change Kramatorsk’s affiliation with Ukraine.
As a reminder, Russia lost another 1,150 soldiers in Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
As a reminder, on the night of May 14, an air raid alert lasted nearly eight hours in Kyiv. In the Kyiv region, seven people were injured in a Russian attack, including a three-year-old child. In Kyiv, more than 30 people have been wounded following a massive shelling.
