Russians attacked the Kherson region—one person was wounded and several buildings were damaged

Over the past day, Russian troops once again attacked the Kherson region with airstrikes, drones, and artillery. Critical and social infrastructure facilities, a high-rise building, and nine private homes were hit. One person was injured as a result of the Russian shelling.

 

Russian forces continued to shell the Kherson region over the past day. Dozens of settlements came under fire, including the city of Kherson. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russians struck the region from the air, launched drone attacks, and used artillery.

The following areas came under attack: Komyshany, Pryozernoye, Sadove, Stepanivka, Stanislav, Shiroka Balka, Darivka, Vitrove, Zarichne, Ingulets, Ingulivka, Lymantsi, Mykilsk, Ponyativka, Ulyanivka, Fedorivka, Chaychyne, Yasna Polyana, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Nadiyivka, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Beryslav, Zmiyivka, Urozhayne, Sukhanove, Novooleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Petropavlivka, Novoraysk, Kostyrka, Tyahynka, Burgunka, Odradokamyanka, Vesele, and Kherson.

Russian strikes damaged one high-rise building and nine private homes. Critical and social infrastructure facilities were also damaged. In addition, Russian troops damaged a store, a minibus, and private cars.

One person was injured as a result of the attacks. “One person was injured due to Russian aggression,” Oleksandr Prokudin reported. The Kherson region regularly suffers from Russian airstrikes, drone strikes, and artillery attacks. Both Kherson and other settlements in the region remain under fire.
