Russians shell a high-rise building in Kherson
On the evening of January 7, Russian occupiers artillery-shelled a high-rise building in the Korablevsky district of Kherson, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, via Telegram.
He reported that one apartment suffered significant damage from a direct hit, while windows in neighboring apartments were shattered.
The shelling caused a fire on the building’s roof, which was quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Residents were not injured.
Meanwhile, in Kupiansk, the situation for Russian forces remains critical, according to Viktor Trehubov, head of Communications for the Joint Forces Group.
