On September 23, Russian drones attacked a gas station and a warehouse in Kyiv
On the night of September 23 and into the morning, Russian forces continued to attack Kyiv with drones. In the Holosiivskyi district, a drone struck a gas station, and a warehouse was also damaged.
Throughout the night, air raid alerts were issued several times in Kyiv due to new waves of Russian drones. Explosions and the activity of air defense forces could be heard in various districts of the capital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported damage in the Holosiivskyi district. “In the Holosiivskyi district, a warehouse was damaged as a result of a drone strike,” the statement said.
The effects of the attack were also observed in the Solomyanskyi district. According to preliminary reports, a fire broke out on the premises of a transportation company there.
In addition, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that debris from a drone had fallen between residential buildings in the Solomyanskyi district.
“In the Solomyanskyi district, according to preliminary information, debris fell onto the area between residential buildings. Emergency services are heading to the scene,” the mayor said. Information regarding the consequences of the Russian attack is being verified.
Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported another incident resulting from the Russian attack in this district. “In the Holosiivskyi district, a drone struck a gas station,” the mayor stated.
We should add that drones attacked the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions overnight.
As a reminder, Russia struck Kharkiv on the night of September 23; one person was killed.
