Russian drones attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv region

On the night of April 13, 2026, Russian occupation forces carried out a targeted attack on the energy infrastructure of the Chernihiv region.

Using a “Gran” type unmanned aerial vehicle, the enemy targeted one of the energy facilities in the Chernihiv district, resulting in serious consequences.

According to Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, a fire broke out immediately at the site where the enemy drone struck.

As a result of the damage to the equipment, a number of settlements in the region were left without power, which significantly complicated life for local residents.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, relevant services and energy companies promptly began restoration work on the damaged section.

The process of gradually restoring power to affected customers is currently underway, and specialists are doing their utmost to bring electricity back to Ukrainian homes as soon as possible.

“The Easter truce ended with a blow to our energy sector,” stated Vyacheslav Chaus.

He emphasized that over the past week, the enemy has repeatedly violated the ceasefire, carrying out regular shelling of the region’s border and rear areas, disregarding the holidays.
