Russian occupiers are attempting to break through defences in northern Pokrovsk — Air Assault Forces
Clashes between Ukraine’s Defence Forces and Russian occupiers continue in certain areas of northern Pokrovsk.
This was reported by the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces (AAF).
Russian troops are trying to advance in Pokrovsk, using infantry assault groups supported by unmanned systems. “Clashes are ongoing in certain areas of the northern part of the city,” the 7th Corps stated.
The occupiers are also actively massing in the north-western part of Pokrovsk and attempting to push their infantry towards Hryshyne.
“In particular, the enemy is attempting to storm the settlement from the east, north, and south, operating in small groups and trying to infiltrate between the positions of the Defence Forces,” the press service reported.
Last week, Ukrainian forces destroyed or wounded 386 occupiers, an increase of 25% compared to the previous period, added the 7th Corps AAF.
Russian troops are attempting to advance in the Pokrovsk area, the Ukrainian military command reported on Monday.
At the same time, Russian military bloggers and propagandists have begun actively spreading messages about a supposedly large-scale “counteroffensive” by Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia.
